One Percent Press will be at CAKE this weekend. We’ll be debuting Simple Routines #18 (our 55th comic release, whoa!) and we’ll have lots of other books to check out too. Come say hello!

One Percent Press will be at the Toronto Comics Art Festival this weekend. Stop by table 134 (right across from Koyama Press and D&Q) to say hi and check out all the new books we’ll have available.
We are very excited to be releasing a collection of Emily Churco’s comics, called Present Tense.
There will be a new collection of Simple Routines, Volume 3 (issues 10-14) as well as issues 16 and 17, brand new for the show.
We’ll also have copies of the new Lumpy Coats zine, and of course lots of other One Percent Press books!

Chicago Zine Fest 2013
We will be at the Chicago Zine Fest this Saturday with mini-comics and zines by JP Coovert, James Hindle, Alexis-Fredrick Frost, Emily Churco, Joe Lambert, Stephen Floyd, Dakota McFadzean and more! We will also be joined by Shane Kearney author of the Instant Regret zine.

SimpleRoutines.com is now a thing! I’ve started posting the entire back catalog of Simple Routines, my journal comic that’s been going on since forever, in an effort to put all my comics online. The entire (embarassing) first issue (actually Simple Routines #5) is up and already moving on to #6.
New comics every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and you can follow it easily on tumblr too.
Their Comics Carousel column has reviewed “Little Wolves” along with some other rad comics. Check it out at their website.
Tin Armor “Life of Abundance” LP
We’ve added Tin Armor’s “Life of Abundance” LP to our distro. The record is the follow up to the “A Better Place Than I Have Been” LP we released in 2007 and contains the same studio session that yielded the “Strange and Estranging” single.
You can download the record for free or for donation from their bandcamp.
The band has also finished a 3rd LP that will be released this year.
My hardcore punk band Empty Room has a 5 song cassette that was released by Feral Kid and Subject Records. You can order it from Feral Kid’s website.
